Current status of Doll Sweet's robot
Hi,
since there was a question when it will be possible to purchase the robot head with animatronics:

The robot head is not a completed product yet. The animatronic features are still under development and there is no scheduled release date - it will be ready when it is ready.
The first generation of Doll Sweet's robotic heads will operate in Chinese. Support for English will follow, when the kinks are ironed out.
Since this project is pure R&D, it's impossible to predict a timeline. Probably at the end of 2017 or beginning of 2018 there will be another status update. Depending on the progress of this stage, product announcements might be within reach.
According to rumors, the robotic head might be priced around $3,000 or €3,000.

Of all the up and coming robot/animatronic heads, DS looks the most life like and usable. Even if the end user doesn't intend to use the A.I. the use of a controller to alter facial expressions is a superb idea. No doubt many doll owners that use their dolls primarily for photos would love to have one when they're released.
